Getting married at Ziethen Castle
"Dedicated to unity" is written above the door. What motto could be more fitting for a wedding? If you've always dreamed of a fairytale wedding in a castle, Ziethen in the Havelland region is the perfect place for you – just 40 minutes by car from Berlin, 90 minutes from Rostock, and a good two hours from Hamburg.
Civil and humanist wedding ceremonies take place in the park – the most beautiful "wedding room" of all – in the shade of ancient, rustling oaks or in the baroque Bredow Hall. The beautiful, old village church with its restored Gesell organ stands opposite the castle, just a few steps away. As the bridal couple descends the grand staircase in the castle, the church bell begins to ring, accompanying them to the altar. After the ceremony, you can welcome your guests in the beautiful, spacious rooms of the castle or on the park terrace. The expansive park with its ancient trees provides a stunning backdrop for your wedding photos, a place for the wedding party to stroll, and invites your younger guests to explore. Where would you like to dine? In the Bülow Hall at a long table? In the orangery by candlelight? After the festive meal, we will lead you in a torchlight procession through the park to the Rose House for dancing. There, you can celebrate exuberantly through the night, attended to by our attentive staff. We look forward to a long and joyful evening!
